Griezmann Moves to MLS
Antoine Griezmann, a former France international and Atletico Madrid legend, has confirmed his move to Major League Soccer side Orlando City. The 35-year-old, who is Atletico Madrid’s all-time leading goalscorer, will make the transition in July after completing his second permanent spell with the Spanish club.
Impressive Career and Retirement
Griezmann, who has been a key figure at Atletico Madrid, will leave after reaching a milestone close to 300 career club goals. He has previously played for Real Sociedad and Barcelona before returning to Atletico. Griezmann retired from international football in 2024, with 44 goals in 137 appearances, and was part of the squad that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

New Chapter in Orlando
On his move to the MLS, Griezmann said: “I am very excited to begin this next chapter of my career. From my first conversations with the club, I could feel a strong ambition and a clear vision for the future, and that really spoke to me. I look forward to making Orlando my new home.”
