Police deploy teams after Kebbi High Court judge is abducted
Police in Kebbi State say they have deployed tactical and intelligence teams after Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza, a judge of the Kebbi State High Court, was abducted from his residence in Bunza Local Government Area.
The Kebbi State Police Command confirmed the abduction through its spokesperson, SP Bashir Usman, who said the Commissioner of Police, Umar Hadejia, ordered the deployment of teams to work toward the judge’s safe rescue.
“I can confirm that Hon. Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza was abducted from his residence in Bunza around midnight,” Usman said.
“Upon receiving the report, the Commissioner of Police immediately deployed tactical and intelligence operatives to ensure his safe rescue,” he added.
