This meeting is outside the Federation’s usual Annual General Assembly (AGA) and will specifically address crucial policy decisions and resolutions necessary for the smooth administration and long-term development of Nigerian football.

Sources within the NFF revealed that the agenda will also include preparations for the upcoming Elective Congress, scheduled for September, which will usher in a new Executive Committee to oversee the affairs of Nigerian football. This extraordinary session aims to strengthen the governance structure and ensure that the necessary frameworks are in place for future development.

The NFF has already communicated the convening of the congress to all relevant stakeholders, with the proposed expansion of the Executive Committee and Congress membership being one of the key issues set to be discussed.
