Chelle admits Guinea-Bissau had the edge
Chelle did not attempt to disguise the performance afterwards.
Speaking after the match, the Super Eagles coach acknowledged that Guinea-Bissau showed greater aggression and personality, and that Nigeria struggled to find solutions.

That admission gives the defeat added weight.
Nigeria did not simply lose ground in the table. Their own coach accepted that the hosts imposed themselves more effectively in a fixture carrying direct qualification consequence.
Opening win now looks less secure
Nigeria began the campaign with three points after recovering from an early setback to beat Madagascar 2-1 in Uyo.

CAF has confirmed that only the highest-ranked non-host team from the group will qualify alongside Tanzania.
