Kaduna Igbo Association Endorses Sani for Second Term

Kaduna Igbo Association Backs Sani; Governor Announces ₦20m and Bus Donation

The Igbo Community Welfare Association in Kaduna State has announced support for Governor Uba Sani’s second-term bid, according to a PUNCH report on its 2026 Igbo Cultural Day celebration.

At the same event, Sani’s representative, Jerry Adams, announced a donation of ₦20 million and a new bus to the association on the governor’s behalf.

PUNCH reported that the celebration took place on Saturday, October 31, at the Nigerian Correctional Service Staff College in Barnawa, Kaduna.

Governor Cites Longstanding Relationship

In remarks delivered through Adams, Sani acknowledged the contributions of Igbo residents to trade, employment and professional life in Kaduna.

He said his relationship with the association predated his governorship, recalling that he had donated a bus in 2019.

The governor described the latest donation announcement as support for the association’s activities and thanked its members for backing his re-election bid.

The report did not establish whether the newly announced funds and bus had been handed over or identify the funding source.
