Osun Shock: FRSC Officer and Daughter Murdered in Ritual Killing Orchestrated by Lover

The Osun State Police Command has uncovered the bodies of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer Lasisi Funmilayo and her young daughter, Sewa, in what investigators describe as one of the yearโ€™s most horrifying ritual-style murders.
The victims, previously declared missing in Ogun State, were located in a forested area near Ijebu-Ijesa after a chain of arrests led detectives to the ritual den.

Funmilayo, 39, and her daughter were lured from their Abeokuta residence by her lover, Victor Fajemirokun, who confessed he handed them over to herbalists after an Islamic cleric told him the officer had โ€œused his gloryโ€ and was allegedly blocking his success.

โ€œWe killed her in the bushโ€ฆ I was hypnotised,โ€ the suspect said

Fajemirokun, paraded by the police after being extradited from Ghana, admitted he invited Funmilayo to Osun after a TikTok-based herbalist, Gboyega Daramola, claimed she was spiritually responsible for his misfortunes.
He said the herbalist instructed that Funmilayo undergo โ€œritual cleansingโ€ and ordered associates to take her into the forest.

โ€œWe went there with her and her daughter.
In the bush, we killed them.
I didnโ€™t know they would cut her into pieces,โ€
he confessed.

Police say both victimsโ€™ bodies were mutilated, with the motherโ€™s head, breasts, hands and private parts missing โ€” consistent with ritual harvesting.

โ€œI was ordered to slaughter them,โ€ says second suspect

The second arrested suspect, Sunday James, confessed he slit their throats on the herbalistโ€™s instruction.

โ€œMy boss told me Victor wanted them dead.
We took them into the bush and slaughtered them.โ€

Two other suspects, Kehinde and Idowu, are still at large.

Police Findings: A planned ritual killing

Osun Police Commissioner Ibrahim Gotan said investigations conclusively show Funmilayo and her daughter were murdered for ritual purposes.

Detectives recovered the motherโ€™s remains at Esa-Odo Dam and found the childโ€™s body in a separate forest location.

โ€œVital parts were removed.
This is a clear case of ritual murder,โ€
the CP said.

The officer and her daughter were last seen alive on November 2 after leaving their home in Ogun State.
