Osimhen resumes gym recovery as Galatasaray step up injury rehab

Victor Osimhen’s early return to full training has ignited debate among Galatasaray supporters

Victor Osimhen has resumed gym recovery as Galatasaray continue to manage the striker’s return from a fractured right forearm. In a training update released ahead of their next league game, the Turkish champions said the Nigeria forward had “resumed training in the gym following his treatment,” marking the latest step in his rehabilitation.

Osimhen suffered the injury during Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League defeat at Liverpool, with the club later confirming that he had played with a broken right arm. He subsequently underwent successful surgery on March 23, and Galatasaray said the operation was completed without complications.

Osimhen in Galatasaray gym

The 27-year-old is still working his way back rather than rejoining full team training, but the move into gym work is an encouraging sign for both club and country. Galatasaray are due to face Trabzonspor next in the Super Lig on April 4, with Osimhen’s progress now likely to be watched closely as the title run-in continues.

For now, the safest reading is simple: Osimhen is back in recovery work, but there is still no confirmed match return date from the club update itself.
