Confirmation from NCF Leadership

Speaking about the process, NCF’s General Manager, Emeka Igwilo, confirmed that the shortlisting process is complete. He stated that the recruitment committee will begin the interview phase soon.

“People have applied and been shortlisted, so the committee handling this is already working on it,” Igwilo said. “Once they are done, they will start conducting interviews for the final candidates.”

Merit-Based Selection Process

Igwilo also pointed out that both Nigerian and international candidates have applied for the role. However, he emphasized that the selection process will be based purely on merit.

“The final choice will be based on experience and qualification,” he added. “We have a standard and cannot go below that. It is up to the committee to recommend the best candidate based on their pedigree.”
