Baba-Ahmed Issues Caution to APC Leadership
Former presidential adviser Hakeem Baba‑Ahmed has cautioned the All Progressives Congress (APC) against assuming that recent defections into the party will automatically secure victory in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking in an interview monitored by IDNN, Baba-Ahmed said Nigeria’s electoral history shows that elite political movements often fail to sway voters if governance outcomes do not improve.
