Tottenham Sink Bodo/Glimt to Set Up All-English Europa League Final

Tottenham Sink Bodo/Glimt to Set Up All-English Europa League Final

By IDNN European Football Desk

Tottenham Hotspur have booked their place in the Europa League final, sweeping aside Bodo/Glimt 2-0 on a wet Arctic night in Norway — and sealing a 5-1 aggregate win in clinical fashion.

Goals from Dominic Solanke and Pedro Porro sealed the job, capping a professional performance that snuffed out any hope of a Bodo miracle.

“That’s what you call managing the tie,” said Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou. “We’re in the final. That’s what matters.”

❄️ Arctic Discipline, London Fire

Bodo/Glimt started with energy but Tottenham handled the early wave. Destiny Udogie was solid at the back, clearing danger with composure before Spurs began applying pressure.

The deadlock broke in the 65th minute when Cristian Romero rose highest to meet a corner — Solanke buried the loose ball.

Porro then sealed it with what looked like a mis-hit cross that curled in off the post. It didn’t matter. It was game over.

⚔️ It’s Spurs vs United in Dublin

An English Europa League Finals
Tottenham defeated Bodo/Glimt 2-0 (5-1 agg) to book a Europa League final clash with Manchester United.

The win sets up a mouth-watering all-English final against Manchester United — a battle between Amorim’s evolving machine and Postecoglou’s reborn Spurs.

For Tottenham, who’ve endured a shaky league season, this final represents a shot at redemption and a return to European relevance.

“One more to go,” Solanke said. “Let’s bring it home.”

From the Arctic Circle to the heart of Europe, Tottenham held their nerve. Now, it’s a straight fight for Europa League glory — English football wins either way.
