Remo Stars Appoint Usman Abdallah as New Technical Adviser to Revive Season

Remo Stars have confirmed the appointment of Usman Abdallah as their new technical adviser in an effort to revive their struggling season in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Abdallah’s appointment follows the departure of Daniel Ogunmodede, who guided the Ikenne-based club to their historic league title last season. However, this season has seen a sharp decline in form, with Remo Stars fighting to avoid relegation. The club currently sits 19th in the NPFL standings, having accumulated just 27 points from 27 matches.

Abdallah’s Role and First Game

Abdallah will take charge of his first game when Remo Stars face his former side, Katsina United, in an upcoming league fixture. Club officials hope that his experience and tactical expertise will help stabilize the team’s performance and steer them away from the relegation zone.

Remo Stars will look to Abdallah’s leadership to turn around their fortunes in the final stretch of the season.

Kano Pillars’ Preparations for Shooting Stars

Meanwhile, Kano Pillars have been hard at work ahead of their next NPFL clash against Shooting Stars. The Sai Masu Gida squad held a high-energy training session at Sani Abacha Stadium, where players focused on tactical drills under the guidance of technical adviser Mohammed Babaganaru.

The training session, described as competitive and intense, emphasized tactical discipline and commitment. The coaching staff is keen to build on the team’s recent performances and secure crucial points in their upcoming fixtures.
