Police place attack that killed NOUN bursar in Tsafe, say companion survived
Zamfara State Police have provided new details on the killing of National Open University of Nigeria Bursar Nasiru Gusau Marafa, saying the attack occurred at Magazu Village in Tsafe Local Government Area.
The police account adds a specific location that was missing from the university’s earlier announcement of Marafa’s death.
Police spokesperson DSP Yazid Abubakar said Marafa was travelling with another person, identified as Nura Marafa, when the attack occurred.
Police said Nura survived with injuries.
