Nigeria Boxing Federation Unveils Boxers for African Boxing League

The Nigeria Boxing Federation (NBF) has revealed the names of 41 boxers who will represent Nigeria at the inaugural African Boxing League starting this April. The tournament will feature pugilists from over 20 African countries, and Nigeria will have strong representation across multiple weight categories.

The NBF selected 41 boxers for the competition. These athletes are spread across menโ€™s and womenโ€™s weight categories, including 55kg, 60kg, 65kg, 70kg, and 90+kg. In the menโ€™s category, notable boxers include Sodiq Oduniyi, Samuel Dahusi, and Raymond Abodunrin.

The womenโ€™s team includes fighters such as Ayomide Mayowa and Kadijat Ajisola, competing in categories from 51kg to 70+kg. Other key names include Sakirat Kareem and Blessing Orakwe, who are ready to showcase their skills on the continental stage.
