Boulter’s Response to Osorio’s Injury

Boulter expressed empathy for Osorio, stating, “We really don’t want to see women with injuries.” She added, “It’s been pretty tough recently. I’ve seen a lot of people with them and I’ve been through them myself, so I know how difficult it is.”

Despite the win, Boulter’s thoughts were on her opponent’s well-being, emphasizing the challenge that injuries pose to athletes.

Next Up for Boulter

The world number 69 will now face either Italy’s top seed Jasmine Paolini or Australia’s Priscilla Hon in the quarter-finals on Friday. Boulter will look to continue her strong form and push deeper into the tournament.
