Fubara Tinubu peace deal under scrutiny as Ann-Kio Briggs demands transparency

By IDNN Politics Desk

Niger Delta rights activist Ann-Kio Briggs has demanded disclosure of the peace terms between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and President Tinubu, which ended six months of emergency rule in Rivers State.

Briggs said Rivers residents risk losing faith in their governor if agreements remain secret.

“It’s like shaving the head of someone behind their back,” she told Channels TV.
