Fire damages duplex, shuttle bus in Anambra; service cites suspected power surge
A fire damaged a residential duplex and shuttle bus near Mopol Base Junction on the Old Amansea-Awka Road in Anambra State, with the state Fire Service reporting no deaths or injuries.
The incident occurred on Saturday, September 5.
The Anambra State Fire Service says it received a distress call at about 6:30pm and deployed personnel and firefighting equipment to the scene.
Firefighters later secured the area and withdrew at about 7:30pm.
