A fresh wave of attacks has struck Borno State as Boko Haram abducts 12 women Borno in Askira-Uba Local Government Area.
The victims were returning from farmland when insurgents ambushed and seized them.

Hours later, another Boko Haram unit launched a prolonged attack on Magumeri, burning homes, shops, and vehicles.
Security forces eventually repelled the fighters, but residents described the assault as “coordinated and terrifying.”
