Super Eagles Set Up World Cup Playoff Camp in Rabat, Eye Morocco Redemption

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will begin camping in Rabat, Morocco, on November 9 ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff tie against Gabon, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed.

The semifinal clash will be held on November 13, with the winner facing Cameroon or DR Congo for a place in the intercontinental playoffs scheduled for March 2026 in Mexico.

NFF President Ibrahim Gusau said all logistics were ready:

“No stone will be left unturned. The spirit that saw us overturn Benin Republic must now carry us to victory.”

The team will train at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex, with a draw deciding final venues.

After missing the 2022 World Cup, the Eagles are treating this playoff as a statement of revival.
