Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle places interview ban

What the Super Eagles Must Do — No Draws, No Excuses

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle is “working quietly” and will not grant any media interviews until after the two all-important 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.

A source close to the coach told SCORENigeria that all the focus now is to win both games to get Nigeria’s faltering World Cup qualifying campaign back on track.

“Eric has received requests from some of the major international media organisations around the world, but he has politely declined because he wishes to concentrate on winning those two matches,” the source told SCORENigeria

“He is working virtually with his personal staff as well as top NFF officials to ensure the Super Eagles win their first two matches in the qualifiers.”

The Super Eagles are in serious danger of not qualifying for next year’s World Cup as they are second bottom of their qualifying group with three points from four matches.
