Oyo State police are investigating the reported killing of Kehinde, popularly known as KBlaq and described by acquaintances as an amateur boxer, according to PUNCH.

The newspaper reported that he died following a stabbing at Olodo Garage in Ibadan on Sunday, November 1.

PUNCH quotes police spokesperson Olayinka Ayanlade as confirming on Monday that an investigation was ongoing.

Circumstances remain unclear

Details about the events preceding the stabbing largely come from social-media accounts reproduced in news reports.

Some users alleged that the fatal attack happened after an earlier confrontation had ended. The available reporting does not establish whether Kehinde participated in that confrontation or what prompted the attack.

IDNN has not obtained a direct police statement or independently verified those accounts. It has also not established Kehinde’s full identity, checked his sporting record or obtained a verified update on any arrest or charge.
