Nigerian striker Victor Mbaoma is reported to have joined Tusker FC from Remo Stars, giving the Kenyan club an experienced forward and extending Nigeria’s player-movement footprint across African football.
Victor Mbaoma’s next move is being reported as an East African switch.
The Nigerian striker is reported to have joined Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC from Remo Stars, with Nigerian outlets reporting that the move is on a one-year deal.
The transfer gives Tusker a forward with NPFL experience and gives Nigeria another export story inside the African club market.
For Mbaoma, the move is a fresh platform outside Nigeria. For Remo Stars, it continues the wider pattern of Nigerian clubs producing players who can move into other African leagues. For Tusker, the reported signing adds attacking depth ahead of the new campaign.
IDNN has not independently confirmed the full contract documents, transfer fee, salary, medical status or registration details. Those elements should not be added unless confirmed by Tusker FC, Remo Stars or an official competition source.
The story is still useful because it sits inside a bigger desk lane: Nigerian players abroad should not only mean Europe. Moves within Africa also matter, especially when they connect the NPFL to competitive regional leagues.
If officially confirmed by the clubs, Mbaoma’s move should enter the Nigerians Abroad Tracker as an NPFL-to-East Africa transfer signal.
