Real Madrid Deny Enzo Fernandez Transfer Move

Real Madrid have dismissed reports linking the club with a move for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, insisting they have made no attempt to sign the Argentina international.

The Spanish giants moved to shut down the speculation after reports claimed Fernandez had emerged in transfer conversations around Madrid’s summer plans.

Madrid’s denial was direct. The club said it had made no effort, either directly or indirectly, to sign Fernandez and had no intention of pursuing the move.

Madrid Shut Down Enzo Speculation

Fernandez has been repeatedly linked with Real Madrid in recent weeks, with reports claiming the Chelsea midfielder was admired inside the Spanish club.

However, Madrid rejected any suggestion that an operation was active.

The club also stressed its respect for Fernandez and Chelsea, pointing to a strong institutional relationship with the Premier League side.

Transfer rumours involving elite clubs can quickly create pressure around players, agents and negotiations, especially when a high-value midfielder is involved.

For Madrid, the message was clear: there is no Enzo Fernandez deal being worked on.

Chelsea Midfielder Remains In Rumour Cycle

Fernandez remains one of the names pushed into the summer transfer conversation.

The Argentina midfielder joined Chelsea in January 2023 in a major deal and remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2032.

Reports have also claimed Chelsea value him at around £120 million, although that figure should be treated as a reported valuation rather than an official club position.

Fernandez’s previous comments about Madrid and Spain have added fuel to speculation, but admiration is not negotiation.

Madrid’s statement now draws a firm line between rumour and action. If Fernandez remains linked with a move, those claims will need stronger evidence than club admiration, agent talk or recycled speculation.

For now, Madrid have made their position public: they are not trying to sign Enzo Fernandez.
