Remo Stars, Pillars Secure Key Wins
Remo Stars and Kano Pillars boosted their survival hopes with important wins on Matchday 31. Both sides delivered strong performances under pressure.

Remo Stars came from behind to beat Kwara United 3-1 in Ikenne. Ibrahim Yahaya gave Kwara the lead in the 34th minute. However, Ahmed Akinyele equalised four minutes later.

Kwara missed a chance to regain the lead before halftime when Ini Emmanuel Okon failed from the spot. After the break, Remo Stars took control. Haruna Hadi scored in the 70th minute, and Victor Mbaoma added a third soon after.

The win moves Remo Stars to 18th with 36 points. Meanwhile, Kwara United drop to the bottom with 33 points.

Kano Pillars also secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Enyimba. Chiedozie Okorie scored early, while Ahmed Musa doubled the lead before halftime. The victory lifts Pillars to 14th on 39 points.

Rangers Maintain Strong Form
At the top end, Enugu Rangers extended their unbeaten run to eight matches. They beat El-Kanemi Warriors 2-0 with goals from Daniel Itodo and Godwin Obaje.

Elsewhere, Katsina United defeated Shooting Stars 1-0 to slow their continental push. Plateau United also edged Bayelsa United 1-0 through Farouk Umar’s second-half strike.

Late Drama in Owerri
Ikorodu City were held to a 2-2 draw by Kun Khalifat FC in a dramatic encounter. Joseph Arumala cancelled the hosts’ opener before Folarin Temitope gave Ikorodu the lead.

NPFL title race

Ikorodu City went down to 10 men after Olanrewaju Molade’s red card. Uchechukwu Onuoha scored deep into stoppage time to earn Kun Khalifat a point.

The result keeps Ikorodu City in the race for continental spots. At the same time, Kun Khalifat gain a valuable point in their fight for survival.

Other Results and Fixtures
Warri Wolves and Bendel Insurance played out a goalless draw.

Matchday 31 concludes later with Nasarawa United hosting Rivers United in Lafia. Abia Warriors will also face Niger Tornadoes in Aba.
