Tinubu Inaugurates Pai Town Road, Applauds Wike’s Rural Expansion in FCT

Pai Town, FCT — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday inaugurated the 15-kilometre A2–Pai Town Road in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, praising the project as a strategic connector for rural prosperity.

The road is part of over 150km of infrastructure projects initiated across six Area Councils since Wike’s appointment as FCT Minister.

“Infrastructure means nothing if it doesn’t lift lives,” Tinubu said. “This road is a bridge to a better life for farmers, students, traders, and herders.”

“Mr. Project is Delivering”

The project — linking the Abuja-Lokoja expressway — will boost mobility, agriculture, and security patrols.

Minister Nyesom Wike listed multiple rural roads already completed, with more (like Karshi–Nyanya and Ushafa–War College Road) to be commissioned this week.

Traditional ruler Sarkin Pai, Alhaji Sani Abubakar, described the project as “a new economic dawn for our people.”
