Inter Milan moved closer to the Serie A title despite throwing away a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw with Torino. The result left Inter 10 points clear of Napoli with four league matches remaining. It was not the clean title statement Cristian Chivu’s side wanted, but it still pushed them nearer to the Scudetto.
Inter had looked in control after goals from Marcus Thuram and Yann Bisseck. But Torino fought back through Giovanni Simeone and Nikola Vlasic to delay what had looked like a routine away win.
Inter Start Like Champions
Inter created the better early chances and eventually broke through in the 23rd minute. Thuram met Federico Dimarco’s cross at the back post and headed Inter in front. The goal rewarded Inter’s pressure and gave them control of the match.
Torino reached half-time without registering a shot on goal. That showed how much Inter controlled the first half.

Dimarco Makes History
Dimarco was again central to Inter’s attacking threat. After assisting Thuram’s opener, he delivered another dangerous ball from a corner for Bisseck to head in Inter’s second goal after the break.
Reuters reported that Dimarco’s two assists took him to 18 for the season. Flashscore also reported that Dimarco made Serie A history during the draw. He moved up to 18 for the campaign – the most ever by a player in a single Serie A season
That gives Inter another reason to value his influence. He has become more than a wide outlet. He is now one of their main creative weapons.
Torino Refuse To Collapse
At 2-0, Inter looked set to finish the job.
But Torino changed the game in the final 20 minutes. Simeone pulled one back with a composed finish after strong link-up play, giving the home side belief.
The pressure then forced a penalty after a VAR review for handball against Carlos Augusto. Vlasic converted from the spot to make it 2-2.
From there, Torino looked capable of completing the turnaround. Inter had moved from control to survival.

Title Race Still Favours Inter
The draw slowed Inter down, but it did not seriously damage their title position.
They remain 10 points ahead with four rounds left. ESPN also reported that Inter can secure the Scudetto when they face Parma at home on May 3.
Inter missed the chance to win with authority, but they remain almost at the finish line.
Why This Matters
This was a warning and a step forward at the same time.
Inter showed their quality in the first hour. They also showed the danger of losing focus too early.
For Torino, the comeback proved resilience. For Inter, the draw kept the title close but removed some shine from the performance.
The Scudetto still looks firmly within Inter’s reach. But if they want to finish as champions, they must close games better than they did in Turin.
