Army Names Ajose New Operation Hadin Kai Commander in Senior-Officer Reshuffle
The Nigerian Army has appointed Major General I.A. Ajose as the new Theatre Commander of Operation HADIN KAI, putting him in charge of the military’s North-East counter-insurgency theatre.
Ajose replaces Major General A.E. Abubakar, who has been reassigned to the Nigerian Army Heritage and Future Centre.
The change is part of a wider redeployment of senior officers approved by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu.
The Army says the reshuffle is intended to strengthen command, administration and operational effectiveness across its formations.
