ICPC Obtains 14-Day Detention Order for El-Rufai, Details Allegations in Court
The ICPC says it secured a 14-day remand order to detain former Kaduna governor Nasir El-Rufai while investigating corruption and security-related allegations. In court filings, the commission detailed financial transactions, alleged diversion of funds and recovery of sensitive documents and equipment. El-Rufai denies wrongdoing and describes the probe as political persecution.
