NNPCL Sacks Managing Directors of Port Harcourt, Warri, Kaduna Refineries

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has removed the Managing Directors of its three key refineries — Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna — in a sweeping leadership reshuffle.

This move, directed by the new GCEO, Bayo Ojulari, comes just weeks after President Bola Tinubu sacked former NNPCL boss Mele Kyari.

According to sources, the leadership shake-up is part of broader institutional reforms aimed at overhauling performance at NNPCL’s refinery subsidiaries.

Industry analysts believe this may be the most aggressive refocus attempt since the refineries fell dormant nearly a decade ago.
