AMAC 2026: Labour Party’s Ifeanyichukwu Ajaegbu Unveils Vision for Transformation

Abuja, Nigeria – With the 2026 AMAC Chairmanship race heating up, business mogul and Labour Party hopeful Hon. Ifeanyichukwu Elvis Ajaegbu has officially declared his intention to contest for the seat, promising a revolutionary agenda focused on digitalization, education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

During a his declaratio  tour of the AMAC wards Ajaegbu outlined his comprehensive vision to drive sustainable growth and development across Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC). Addressing journalists, he emphasized his passion for leveraging technology to modernize governance and improve the lives of AMAC residents.

A Vision for a Digital, Educated, and Healthy AMAC

Ajaegbu’s campaign agenda hinges on three critical pillars: digitalization, education, and healthcare. He envisions turning Abuja into a digital hub, where innovation thrives, businesses flourish, and government services become more accessible.

> “I want to make Abuja a digital home, leveraging technology to drive growth and innovation,” he stated.

On education, the Labour Party aspirant lamented the alarming rate of out-of-school children in Nigeria, pledging to ensure free and accessible education for all.

> “We need to put an end to the cycle of illiteracy and poverty. Education must once again be free and accessible to every child, just like it was in the past,” he affirmed.

In the healthcare sector, Ajaegbu’s agenda includes a holistic approach that encompasses mental health, occupational health, and school health programs to ensure a healthier society.

While commending the FCT Minister for his impactful projects, Ajaegbu did not hold back in his critique of the current AMAC Chairman, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, whom he deemed unfit to work effectively with the Minister.

He urged the electorate to reject both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), highlighting the growing dissatisfaction with the dominant political parties. He cited the last general election, where PDP lost over 25% of its votes, as proof that Nigerians are seeking alternatives.

> “The wave for change is not dead; it’s alive. I am the credible person the people of AMAC can trust, and I’m calling on them to join me in this journey to transform our council into a model of excellence,” he declared.

Ajaegbu’s Campaign Gathers Momentum

As the 2026 AMAC elections approach, Ifeanyichukwu Ajaegbu’s campaign is gaining traction, with his bold vision resonating with residents who are eager for progressive leadership. His emphasis on technology-driven governance, quality education, and accessible healthcare signals a new era of governance for AMAC if elected.

With his grassroots engagement and clear policy direction, Ajaegbu is positioning himself as the candidate of innovation and transformation, rallying support for a Labour Party victory in the upcoming elections.
